Procell Microchanneling is a cutting-edge skin treatment that uses ultra-fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, promoting the natural production of collagen and elastin. What to Expect
At your Microchanneling appointment at NuVida, you will start with a comprehensive skin consultation to discuss your goals and customize your treatment plan. Before and after pictures will be taken to track your progress. Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed, and a numbing cream will be applied, left on for 20-30 minutes to ensure maximum comfort and effectiveness. During the treatment, microchannels will be created in your skin to stimulate collagen production. Afterward, an Epicutis lipid serum will be applied to soothe and nourish your skin. To enhance your results, you'll be sent home with a hyaluronic mask and rejuvenation serum, designed to support your skin's recovery and maintain the treatment benefits.
How Does ProCell Microchanneling Work?
When you come to our American Fork, UT office for your ProCell microchanneling treatment, you will be escorted to one of our private treatment rooms. Once there, you can lie back and relax while a local numbing cream is applied to your skin to help you with any discomfort you may feel during your treatment. A special serum created from hyaluronic acid and human growth hormones will be applied to your skin. The ProCell device will be passed over the treatment areas where micro-injuries will be made, allowing the serum to penetrate deep into the skin. The serum will stimulate the body to generate collagen and boost the natural healing process, renewing and rejuvenating your skin. Since ProCell microchanneling does not require downtime, you can leave our office once your treatment is complete and resume your regularly planned routine. You may experience some redness and swelling after the treatment. This is normal and should be resolved quickly. Although you may notice results after just one day, most patients require 2 – 3 for optimal outcomes.
