What to expect during an IPL treatment
At NuVida, your IPL treatment begins with a thorough skin consultation by a master aesthetician in a private, comfortable room. After discussing your skin concerns and goals, the aesthetician will cleanse your face to prepare your skin for the treatment. The IPL session will target the full face, neck, and décolleté to ensure even results and avoid any lines of demarcation, giving you a naturally radiant appearance. By treating these areas together, we provide the most comprehensive results possible. You can expect a relaxing, effective experience designed to rejuvenate your skin with minimal downtime.
How Does IPL Work?
If no other treatments are performed, an IPL photofacial at our American Fork, UT office can be completed in around 20 – 30 minutes in one of our minor procedure rooms. To start the photofacial, your technician will clean and dry your skin before protecting your eyes with covers. The IPL photofacial is administered using a handheld device that will pass over the skin while emitting pulses of light energy. While some patients may have mild discomfort during the photofacial, it’s usually tolerable for the short treatment length.

Nuvida really is a beautiful, comfortable, safe and friendly place for those who are looking for a little help in aging more gracefully. My first procedure I had done was with the IPL laser and I loved it. I have since gone back for OPUS and hormone replacement therapy.
